About Us

If you care for young children, Windsor's Early Childhood Council, the ECC, provides you with useful information, resources and training.  We are a group of dedicated parents, grandparents, childcare providers, early childhood educators, town and school employees and other community members who act on behalf of Windsor Children from birth to age eight.  The result we want for all our children is that:

All Windsor children ages birth through eight will come to school ready, willing and able to succeed as caring, capable and confident learners.

To achieve this result, residents of Windsor and town and school leadership came together through the Thriving Children - Thriving Community (TC2) project to create a plan that will lead our community toward this result.  This is a living plan, so specific pieces may evolve as we continue on this journey.  Documents from the TC2 project can be found on the documents page.  Here is a direct link to Windsor's Plan for Young Children.
