Early Lessons:  A Report on the Perry Project
Read, download or listen to a highly informative report on the Perry Project.  The Perry Project was a landmark initiative that led to the development of the institution of preschool and continues to challenge our thinking about early care for our youngest children.

This Connecticut Voices for Children data sheet includes data on child and family well-being by town, including the percentage of children in poverty, median family income, unemployment rates, children enrolled in HUSKY, preschool attendance, dropout rates, homeownership, and children in families receiving Care4Kids child care assistance, children substantiated as abused/neglected, and children in DCF care who were placed in the town. Report from the National Summit on America's Children
Pathways from Brain Research to Policy is a new report based on highlights from the National Summit on America's Children. The summit, hosted by Speaker Nancy Pelosi in May 2007, convened scientists from across the nation to share current research findings on brain development of children with Congress. This report showcases these finding and important policy implications discussed at the summit.
